Award Overview

The Keith Hunsberger Outstanding Customer Service Award recognizes excellence in leadership and service within the customer service functions of the drinking water community.

Eligibility Criteria

Nominee must:

  • Be a current Ohio Section AWWA member
  • Be recognized as a customer service leader
  • Demonstrate contributions in one or more of the following:
    • Process improvements in customer service
    • Leadership in promoting service excellence
    • Mentorship
    • Advancement of customer service standards
    • Support of education and volunteer service

Nomination Requirements

Complete the online nomination form, which will include:

  • Eligibility confirmation
  • A detailed justification noting specific examples of customer service leadership, innovation, mentorship, and professional engagement aligned with the selected criteria
  • A proposed citation

Deadline & Presentation

Nominations must be submitted by April 15.

Presented at the OAWWA Member Appreciation Lunch during the One Water Conference on August 19. Recipients are also recognized in the fall issue of Waterfront and on the OAWWA LinkedIn page.
